
Jessica Goodman is an associate in the Firm’s Litigation Division and focuses her practice on complex commercial matters in both state and federal courts, including commercial litigation, trade secret disputes, and directors’ and officers’ liability. Jessica also has substantial experience in the public sector, including prosecuting and defending governmental claims both in court and in administrative proceedings.
Originally from Boca Raton, Florida, Jessica graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration and a minor in Mass Communications. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law. While in law school, Jessica was a member of the Extramural Moot Court Team, Virginia Tax Review, and UVA Law’s Health and Disability Clinic. She also served as a pro bono intern for a legal-driven group committed to improving equity within the criminal justice system.
Prior to joining the firm, Jessica worked as a judicial intern with the Honorable William D. Matthewman in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She later worked for one of the largest firms in Florida, where she focused on a variety of business and professional liability disputes.
