Robert Ginsburg died on Sunday August 13. He served as Miami Dade County Attorney for over 25 years and was the dean of municipal lawyers in Florida. Richard Weiss, Mitch Bierman and Cliff Schulman served in the Miami Dade County Attorneys’ Office and were mentored by Bob. The Miami Dade County Attorneys’ Office has served as a model for our firm and we have sought to emulate their level of excellence and provide that service to cities. Over the years, many and probably most of the Weiss Serota Helfman Cole & Bierman lawyers have interacted with Bob at one time or another and learned something from the experience. We salute the outstanding career of our colleague Bob Ginsburg and we will miss him.
