Alison F. Smith has been recognized as a Leader in Law by The Florida Association for Women Lawyers. The award recognizes members who have made significant impacts in their communities.
The Florida Association for Women Lawyers strives to propel women lawyers into economic, social and leadership spheres of power. This recognition is intended to promote members who have made meaningful contributions in their communities through their legal service or volunteer activities and who have provided a positive role model for FAWL members.
Alison focuses her practice in the area of labor and employment, and has significant experience handling a wide array of matters, including conducting training and employee investigations, representing employers in collective bargaining, and advising clients regarding evolving state and federal labor and employment laws. Smith currently serves as President-elect of the Broward County Bar Association and chair of the membership committee for the Board of Governors of the Shepard Broad College of Law at Nova Southeastern University.
