Partner and Sports & Entertainment Law Chair Alan Fertel was the Keynote speaker at the Nova Southeastern Broad Shepard College of Law Sports and Entertainment Law Symposium held at Nova Southeastern University on Saturday March 25,2017. Alan spoke on the subject of “Lawyering in the Modern Environment”. He discussed the recent politicization of Athletes and Entertainers, its impact on talent and how to handle representing clients who involve themselves in such hot button issues as well as the importance of general legal knowledge, networking, charity and professionalism as essential to any successful legal career.
