Alen Hsu Organizes and Moderates “And Then They Came For Us: A Movie Screening & CLE Panel Discussion”

On June 6^th, firm attorney Alen Hsu organized and moderated “And Then They Came For Us: A Movie Screening & CLE Panel Discussion” at the Savor Cinema in Fort Lauderdale. Nine local bar associations, including APABA South Florida, the Broward County Bar Association and B’nai B’rith Justice Unit collaborated to provide a screening of the 2018 American Bar Association Silver Gavel Award winning film, And Then They Came For Us. The special event also included a panel discussion with Karen Korematsu, a civil rights advocate and founder of the Fred T. Korematsu Institute, and the Peabody award-winning director of “And Then They Came for Us” Abby Ginzberg. Weiss Serota Helfman Cole & Bierman was a proud sponsor of the event.
