WSH Associate Samuel I. Zeskind was recently elected to the Board of Directors of Voices for Children of Broward County. Voices for Children of Broward County is a Plantation-based organization that raises funds and awareness to support the State’s Guardian Ad Litem program, which recruits, trains and supervises volunteers who work with abused and neglected children, make recommendations for placement, and advocate for the children’s best interests.
A member of WSH’s Litigation Division, Sam focuses his practice on commercial and municipal litigation at both the State and Federal levels. His recent governmental/municipal experience includes representing the Cities of Aventura, Homestead, Coral Gables, North Bay Village, and Hallandale Beach concerning each city’s respective red light camera ordinances,and the Cities of Miramar and Homestead defending contractual disputes. Sam is also a member of WSH’s Construction Group, and has represented both owners and contractors in multi-million dollar disputes. In 2012, SuperLawyers magazine recognized Sam as a “Florida Rising Star.”
