Rule enforcement at community associations can be problematic enough when dealing with delinquent owners and rowdy neighbors. However, managers and board members may have an equally difficult time enforcing the rules when it comes to owners’ most beloved companions – their pets. WSH Community Association Practice Group Chair Joshua D. Krut recently sat down with Aventura News to discuss the importance of uniform regulations for condominium associations to implement and enforce when dealing with owners’ four legged friends. Specifically, Josh recommended that associations require pet registration to make sure they meet any size and breed parameters.
