The firm’s Managing Director of its Broward office, Jamie Cole, appeared on WSVN Channel 7 during a press conference to discuss a recent favorable ruling in pending litigation challenging certain Florida firearms legislation. The judge ruled against the State of Florida, determining that the NRA-sponsored law, which allowed for fines against individual elected officials and even gave the governor the power to remove them from office if they attempted to enact local gun regulation legislation, is unconstitutional. Jamie Cole, who was lead attorney on the case, represented 30 local governments in Florida and more than 50 elected officials.
