Litigation Partner John Quick, a Board Member & Past President of the Friends of the Miami-Dade Library hosted two events centered around the civil rights marches and U.S. Rep. John Lewis On April 1.
During the day there was a public discussion about civil rights, Rep. Lewis’ experiences during the civil rights movement, and his recent book series “March.” Over 2,600 people attended the event, both young and old.
In the evening, the Organization hosted a private reception with Rep. Lewis. It was an intimate affair and John was asked to introduce Rep. Lewis.
