On November 12, HistoryMiami’s 11th Judicial Circuit Historical Society awarded two Weiss Serota Helfman Pastoriza Cole & Boniske, P.L. attorneys with Legal Legends Awards. The Historical Society honored Founding Member Joseph H. Serota for chairing the Board of Trustees and the 11th Judicial Circuit’s Centennial Celebration. The Legal Legends Awards are presented each year to South Florida’s most influential lawyers, and other legal professionals for extraordinary accomplishments. The Historical Society also conferred the Scott J. Silverman Award to Firm partner Edward G. Guedes, for his contributions to historical preservation and recognition of the Circuit’s rich legal heritage. In addition to his commitment to the 11th Judicial Circuit Historical Society, Ed sits on the Board of Trustees for the Florida Supreme Court Historical Society and is the founder and former board member of the Third District Court of Appeal Historical Society. We are thrilled for both Joe and Ed and congratulate them on being Legal Legends.
