WSH Member Mitchell A. Bierman and Partner-in-Charge of the Miami-Dade office Michael S. Popok will be representing our firm at the 2012 Law Firm Alliance Spring meeting in Vancouver, British Columbia from April 26 through 28. The Law Firm Alliance is a loose affiliation of law firms created to provide a vehicle to obtain competent and responsive legal services. LFA members are mid-size firms with a relatively narrow geographic scope. All are highly regarded commercial firms offering a variety of corporate and litigation services, and each U.S. based LFA member has received the highly-coveted preeminent AV-peer review rating from LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell. Membership in the LFA is by invitation only. WSH is the sole member firm representing the South Florida region.
As our firm representatives at the LFA conference, Mitch and Michael have extensive experience in government affairs, procurement and commercial litigation. In addition to negotiating large public contracts and public private partnerships, Mitch chairs our firm’s Airports and Aviation Services Group, representing airports and airport-related business. In addition to his duties as Partner-in-Charge of our Miami-Dade office, Michael sits on the Strategic Development Committee and served as Chair of our Litigation Division. Michael has successfully represented businesses and municipalities in multimillion dollar suits; he is also a skilled appellate advocate whose successful advocacy has resulted in a number of reported appellate decisions in both Federal and State courts.
