WSHC+B partner and Chair of the firm’s Sports, Arts, and Entertainment Law Practice Group, Alan K. Fertel, recently spoke with Law360 to discuss his career as a sports & entertainment lawyer, including his role as counsel to 2024 Paris Olympics-bound and gold medal swimmers Caeleb Dressel and Bobby Finke.
Alan will be in attendance at the 2024 Paris Olympics as Dressel and Fink contend for Olympic gold in various swimming events for the United States. In speaking about his role as counsel to the Olympic swimmers, Alan explained “You’ve got to make sure that the client is put in the best position possible to be successful, the athlete has to be comfortable, because they’ve got to be free to swim fast.”
