Working collaboratively with governments on pensions, we work on issues including, but not limited to: 

  • Drafting and amending retirement plan ordinances and other documents to ensure compliance with Florida law and federal regulations 
  • Providing advice to pension boards and plan administrators on all aspects of their duties and obligations under Florida law
  • Representing government entities in disputes involving retirement benefits, contributions, or plan administration
  • Providing guidance on bargaining strategy during union negotiations and labor disputes
